The status indicator will blink letting you know the Oyster 2 ® is ready for use. The Pad-Pak defibrillation pads speed up the rescue by reducing the number of steps required. Just open the package and apply the pads.

Clinically Safe and Effective

The Oyster 2 ® is built on many years of research and development and patented technology. The Oyster 2 ® uses HeartSine’s SCOPE™ Biphasic
technology (a low-energy waveform that adjusts for the differences in each person’s physical make-up) to deliver optimal defibrillation to every patient.

Only One Expiration Date to Monitor

With the Oyster 2 ® there is only one expiration date to be concerned about. We have packaged the battery and PAD system together.
The new innovative battery and electrode system cuts maintenance in half and helps ensure an optimal state of readiness. Just one expiration to track and replace.

Lightweight and rugged

The robust Oyster ® AED weighs only 1.9kg and is suitable for a range of environments: ambulances, hospitals, sports facilities, and public or corporate buildings.*

Innovative SCOPE® biphasic

The Oyster ® AED uses Self Compensating Output Pulse Envelope (SCOPE®).
This provides optimum low energy, escalating (100J-150J-200J) delivery allowing for high defibrillation efficacy. The SCOPE® Biphasic waveform automatically compensates the energy, slope, and pulse envelope for a wide range of patients resistances.

Basic and advanced features

The large message display and clear voice instructions easily guide rescuers. An optional manual override and ECG display provide additional control and information for trained medical professionals.

Data-Pak battery

The Data-Pak battery will operate the Oyster ® AED for over 12 hours of continuous ECG monitoring or 120 shocks at 200J’s. Built into each patented Data-Pak battery is a continuous event data storage system. Information is recorded reliably into the Data-Pak battery, eliminating the possibility of lost or damaged datacards and patient information. With the Oyster ® AED and Data-Pak battery, there is no need to purchase and maintain multiple datacards or additional computer hardware to retrieve event data.
